If anyone is interested in trying this program out, please go ahead and let me know if you run into any problems. While the file transfering works and I haven't found any major bugs, I have not been able to test this program in game simply because I have not found someone recently that's interested in playing. Then, when the game goes out of sync, the host will save his game and then press the "Out of Sync" button and all the players in the game will automatically receive the savefile.Īll the host has to do then is re-host the game and have the players join again. With this program, this should no longer be a problem.īefore you start your game, simply have all the players run my program, and have the clients connect to the host through my program (instructions included). But then of course you have to open the savegames folder, find the correct save file, and try to find a file transfering service to send everyone the savefile which is too much hastle and takes too much time for most. I recently discovered that the host of the game can simply save the game when the game goes out of sync, and share the save file with everyone he's playing with and re-host the game.

I used to think that after a game goes out of sync, you would have to load an earlier save file, only to have the out of sync bug happen again at the exact same spot. While this program does not fix the out of sync bug, it allows you to very quickly get back into the game when it does happen.

This is my first release of The Guild 2 Network Helper, my first real program.
